I'm up at midnight, and there is a meeting on Channel 20. You know the Public Access Channel? The City Council is trying to engage the city in getting involved with making the city productive; again. Lee Jones is highly upset with me. He took a trip to another city that had obtained 20 million some odd dollars in order to restructure their program. Back when he was my "friend" on Facebook (he deleted me), during his trip, he posted on his status a question that the people there was asking him. I simply asked him what his answer was, and he never replied. Like all of the politicians, his constituency answered for him and attacked me for asking him about his job. One man told me that I was low-class, because I said, "SM damn H." Of course, I got with him, and told him if he wanted to pick a fight with me, I don't fight men. I would; however get him in contact with my man and they could straighten it all out.
After I had told Lee Jones to get off Facebook and find he answer to the question, he stopped posting and commenting on his status in an attempt to appear not to be on Facebook. I said and I still say that it is his job not to hang out with "big whigs", but to find the answers we need to move forward. If this city was not out of financial difficulties yet, and had only received this money and hadn't done anything with it, his trip was all in vain. The only thing he had accomplished was taking a trip, hanging out with a governor and watching baseball. I asked him to go to the internet and type in, "Cities that have overcome their financial woes". I explained the city must be demographically typed as Pontiac, same race, same age and same assets and liabilities, and this city MUST have come out of their financial problems and be victorious. He replied, "I don't claim to have all the answers." Well, why are you taking trips with out knowing what you need to do? He is clueless,and his little friend Kermit Williams my so-called Councilperson, is just as clueless. "Birds of a feather..."
With illiterate men in charge of this city like them we will never overcome. Everybody wants to be famous. They get these positions not to help the city, but to seem like bigger men that what they are. I'm not going down to City Hall and getting on camera! They are asking me to do that, because they think I can't go down there, due to my victim being a Pontiac Police Detective and my having to keep my distance from the police station. Even if he wasn't working there, what good would my face being on their camera help the city. The man who crunches the numbers and fixes things aren't in the forefront, but in the back office. You go to him only when your check is missing hours or your mileage report is off.
I can't help that I am smart and paid attention in Business class and got all A's in my major. You should have taken a few management classes a Political Science class or two, before you decided to run a city. Don't you think. Our city isn't a "learn as you go" experience. You sit as President and you have no clue in how to run a city. You want me to believe that I am out of any running, because I am a convicted felon and my victim is a cop. Please, you will be shocked once the real truth comes to the surface. You don't know anything and you truly don't know anything about me. You can use your, "air-time" to make fun of me or "call me out", but I will surely get the last laugh on you and Mr. Williams.
You are two very simple men and I know exactly what kind of men you are. If you EVER believe that I am afraid of you or anything you have to say, you are sadly mistaken. You don't get the simplest concepts of running a city or any organization.
The people you are asking for question of are just as rudimentary as you are. Why don't you track down a corporate exec and ask him what questions we should be asking? I will pose the correct questions, after they hold their meeting where all the questions are posed to their "Great Mind". Being great isn't complicated people, because it's just being able to take the complicated and make it simple. Great organization, people skills and leadership. All of these things are simple when they are actually what you are working on. Our President isn't spending his time doing his job, but "Hob Nobbing" with folk. If he took that energy and spent it researching what it takes to make a successful municipality he would do far better. You can look ANYTHING up on the internet! Educate yourself; first! Don't walk into a meeting waiting for people to tell you what the answers are, you walk into the meeting with the answers. The people look to your leadership, when was the last time you asked your child how to spend your paycheck? Sure they can give intuitive little bits, but the bulk of a household is ran by the parents - - the leaders! Calling me out won't put one bit of my knowledge or create any answers for you. You gotta go out and find them.
I WOULDN'T CARE IF YOU WENT AND ASKED THAT RACIST L. BROOKS PATTERSON FOR INFORMATION. HE HAS BEEN RUNNING THE COUNTY LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE! HE IS EVEN SLICK ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW TO RUN PONTIAC IN THE GROUND. ASKING HIM MY SOFTEN HIS FEELINGS ABOUT US AND LEND US A HAND THROUGH FLATTERY. THESE PEOPLE ARE LACKING ANY COMMON BUSINESS SKILLS!!!
I plan to do my own thing and I'm not about to give you any answers, you should be in the position as a leader to have the sense and know-how to go find them - - as I have!
